n this tutorial, I show you how to install and configure the Samba Share add‑on in Home Assistant. With Samba Share, you can easily access your Home Assistant configuration files from your computer, edit them directly, and even upload custom images to personalize your dashboards. To make it more fun, I’m adding a picture of our new rescue sausage dog, Albie 🐶, as a background in Home Assistant. This way, even when he’s being naughty, I can look at my dashboard and remember how cute he is!
